Boston will be without one of its most important players when it tries to even up the best-of-seven set. Brad Marchand will not play due to an upper-body injury sustained from a hit. Jim Montgomery labeled Marchand as "day to day."
The return of Danton Heinen is the most likely option to replace Marchand for Game 4. Heinen hasn't played since Round 1, but is confirmed available. The Bruins coach didn't rule out playing with 11 forwards and seven defensemen.
Speculation suggests Jeremay Swayman will stay in net for the Bruins in Game 4. Coach Montgomery did not confirm the goaltender choice for the important matchup against the Panthers.
