"Walking was the last mode I hadn't tried. Lots of people from East Boston walk to the airport, and I agree that that stretch is walkable."
Sam Westby, a Boston-area bikefluencer, walked over seven miles from Cambridge to Logan Airport, taking nearly two-and-a-half hours. He aimed to avoid car-only tunnels and documented his journey. Westby, who holds a Guinness World Record for cycling, initially began biking to Logan out of necessity when early train schedules were unavailable. He found walking slightly more pleasant than biking, despite both being poor options due to traffic and lack of sidewalks in many areas. He noted that some stretches, particularly from East Boston, are more walkable.
