""I've been loving exploring Boston, and this is just another opportunity to," Oppenheimer explained, highlighting his motivation for the transit challenge."
""When I first heard of it several years ago people doubted whether it could even be done in one day because the T was in such shambles," Franklin noted, reflecting on the past challenges of the MBTA."

A group of friends undertook the challenge of riding all MBTA subway lines in a single day, completing the journey in 10 hours and 3 minutes. Adam Oppenheimer and Charles Jessup Franklin were among the participants, inspired by previous transit speedruns. They started from Alewife and finished at Union Square, with about 10 people joining for various legs of the trip. The MBTA has improved significantly under General Manager Phillip Eng, making such challenges more feasible.
