South Coast police take possession of 15 pit bulls
Briefly

Last week, 15 pit bulls, including 12 puppies, were surrendered to Fairhaven police due to a resident's eviction. The dogs were temporarily boarded at the Fairhaven Animal Shelter, with some puppies moving to Forever Paws for fostering. The community quickly contributed supplies, providing hundreds of pounds of food. Police Lieutenant Timothy F. Souza praised the public's support, urging donors to delay further contributions to care for the puppies. Many dogs will soon be available for adoption after necessary vaccinations and preparations.
The amount of provisions our community has provided is staggering. We are grateful to our residents for their kind support.
If you haven't already ordered anything, please wait a little longer to make a donation for our puppies.
