One killed, one injured in Jamaica Plain hit-and-run
"A driver fled the scene after they struck and killed one woman and critically injured another Sunday night in Jamaica Plain, officials said. According to the Boston Police Department, police responded at 9:37 p.m. to a report of two pedestrians struck by a motor vehicle near 101 South Huntington Ave. Officers found two women. The first was a 77-year-old woman who was transported by EMS to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead."
