New CharlieCard store opening July 29, MBTA announces
Briefly

The store will reopen at a new location on July 29. Riders can visit the new store at 296 Washington St. in downtown Boston, near the State Street T station.
In a press release from July of last year, the MBTA announced they had to close down the original CharlieCard Store offices due to 'an air conditioning maintenance issue within the store.'
Per the MBTA website, you can visit the new Charlie Service Center to: Add credit to a RIDE account, Buy passes for any mode, Replace a damaged or expired CharlieCard, Request special cards like a Senior CharlieCard, TAP, or Blind Access Pass, Process name changes with a valid ID.
