Currently available to iPhone users, the MBTA Go app offers real-time rider updates like estimated arrival times and train or bus tracking, the MBTA said in a press release.
What the riders will see - and we're going to continue to build this out as we get more feedback - but ... now you can use this app to find out where the trains are, you can see them in the system, you can also see if there's any issues.
We want riders - whether it's their first time in Boston, or longtime residents - to feel comfortable using public transportation, and this app will be a great tool to accompany people through their trips.
Putting this app into the hands of many of our riders will make their trips so much more efficient as they will be able to make decisions in the moment about how soon to go to a station.
