Briefly

The Bay Ridge Lawyers Association held its annual dinner to honor outgoing president Mario Romano, reflecting on a year of successful events and collaboration. Romano emphasized the importance of teamwork and specifically thanked past presidents Stephen Spinelli and Dominic Famulari for their support. The evening highlighted successful programs like holiday events and CLEs, showcasing the collective effort that contributed to the association's accomplishments. Romano, who owns a law firm and has a background in criminal defense, credited the officers and directors for their organizational efforts throughout the year.
"There's no way I could've done this without them," Romano said of past presidents Stephen Spinelli and Dominic Famulari, the two members he leaned on most throughout the year. "They were always there before I even had to ask."
The spirit of teamwork was what made the association's programs so successful, from holiday events like "Breakfast with Santa" to the well-attended Atlantic City trip and a steady calendar of CLEs and social gatherings.
"Every year, we get better," Romano said. "And it's because we rely on each other."
He also thanked the officers and directors who helped organize meetings and keep the association running throughout the year, including Vice President Yolanda Guadagnoli, Recording Secretary Sarah Moore, and others.
