According to MBTA Transit Police, the adult man was trespassing on the right-of-way around 8:25 p.m. when he was struck by an inbound commuter rail train in the vicinity of Beverly's Prides Crossing neighborhood.
Transit Police did not identify the man, who died from his injuries. Authorities do not suspect foul play.
