A poll from the Boston Policy Institute found nearly four out of five Boston voters have a positive outlook on the city's quality of life, with 79% rating it as good or excellent. However, issues like cost of living and public transportation received low performance ratings.
"There's big city amenities... in a walkable footprint," said a resident, acknowledging positives like entertainment and safety, but also recognizing challenges such as high rent and inadequate public transit.
