7-year-old from South Boston moves into final round of mullet competition

Brody Byrne, a 7-year-old from Boston, is in the final round of the Ultimate Mullet Competition, raising funds for homes for wounded veterans.

The fundraiser 'Mullets and Margaritas' held by Brody's parents raised nearly $2,000 for Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors, showcasing community support.

Brody's father expressed confidence, stating, 'We're feeling pretty strong. We have a lot of support,' as they prepare for the final voting.

Brody plans to maintain his mullet but is getting a fresh trim to prepare for the competition's final round, set to announce winners on Aug. 28.
