As Arden drew inspiration from a WWI-era photograph for 'The Warm Hands of Ghosts,' the story blends meticulously researched WWI events with a touch of the supernatural. Jen Fawkes' 'Daughters of Chaos' is set during the American Civil War, offering a unique twist on historical conflicts.
