Lauren Plude, acquiring editor at Montlake, acquired world rights for two standalone contemporary romance books by Yarros slated for publication in fall 2025 and fall 2026.
Yarros is best known for her Empyrean romantasy series, comprising the books Fourth Wing and Iron Flame, which were published in April and November of this year, respectively, by Red Tower Books, an adult fantasy imprint of Entangled Publishing.
The highly anticipated release of Iron Flame was complicated by printing errors, with numerous social media posts showing misprints in copies of the book and a special holiday edition of Fourth Wing.
