""Joanna will be mourned by her children, grandchildren, family, her countless friends and - of course - her readers.""
Joanna Trollope died peacefully at her Oxfordshire home on Thursday, aged 82, according to her daughters Louise and Antonia. She published more than 30 works, including A Village Affair, The Rector's Wife and Other People's Children, and released novels under both her own name and the pseudonym Caroline Harvey. Her daughters described her as a "beloved and inspirational mother." James Gill, her literary agent, called her one of their most cherished, acclaimed and widely enjoyed novelists and said she will be mourned by children, grandchildren, family, friends and readers. More details are expected.
