Gay Marvel superhero Wiccan lands first solo comic series
Briefly

Wiccan: Witches' Road is a five-issue Marvel Comics series following Billy Kaplan (Wiccan), written by Wyatt Kennedy and Andy Pereira. The plot continues from the Imperial storyline and follows Wiccan down the Witches' Road as he attempts to save his husband, Teddy Altman/Hulkling, who returns grievously wounded. Wiccan faces a new enemy and must discover his role in protecting Earth from magical threats. The series ties into the Marvel Cinematic Universe portrayal of Billy by Joe Locke in Agatha All Along and reflects Wiccan's status as a prominent LGBTQ+ hero. Issue #1 releases December 3 and is available for pre-order.
Something Wiccan this way comes! A dark, macabre adventure awaits down the Witches' Road that will reshape Wiccan and the magical fabric of the Marvel Universe for ever,
Wiccan and Hulkling arrive back on Earth but nothing is ever easy for Marvel's favourite (former) space emperors. With Hulkling grievously wounded, it's up to Wiccan to save the day. But what lengths will he be willing to go, to do so?
Kennedy said it was "a real thrill" to help write the series and take Wiccan "in such an unexpected direction and put him out of his element", before hinting at "a surprising ally... I know fans have been wanting to see".
