Despite his strong momentum, Gaetz acknowledged, 'it is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump Administration.'
Trump expressed gratitude for Gaetz's work, stating he was doing 'very well but... did not want to be a distraction for the Administration.'
