Public are split over whether the police have gone a good or bad job at policing pro-Palestine protests

A majority (56%) of UK adults say the police do a good job of policing peaceful protests in the UK, according to a new poll by Savanta.

Labour voters are significantly more likely to believe the police have a right-wing bias (36%), with just 8% saying they have a left-wing bias.

Following a number of protests in the UK over recent weeks following the Israel-Palestine conflict, and comments by senior politicians, ... this poll finds the public divided over whether pro-Palestine protests have been policed well, with 41% saying they were policed well and 40% saying they were policed badly.
