York police are investigating the abandonment of a Cane Corso dog found tied to a pole in a park in Georgina on Sunday. The police received an animal complaint at approximately 8:15 a.m. and confirmed that the dog, while not in distress and without visible injuries, was taken to the local animal shelter. Video footage has been released showing a black pick-up truck involved in the incident. Authorities are urging anyone with information to reach out to them or to Crime Stoppers.
