A violent incident occurred at Wallens Ridge State Prison in Virginia, where six inmates, predominantly MS-13 members, attacked and stabbed three correctional officers. This coordinated assault resulted in two officers needing hospitalization. The attackers, five of whom were illegal immigrants with histories of violent crime, pose grave concerns regarding public safety and the challenges correctional staff endure daily. The VADOC Director emphasized the perilous nature of the officers' work, calling them heroes amidst ongoing investigations into the attack.
Five of the individuals responsible for this senseless attack should never have been in the country in the first place.
