Marin City resident Felicia Gaston creates exhibits at Marin County Library to showcase the historical legacy of Black pioneers who came to the area during WWII.
The exhibits highlight the struggles and triumphs of Black families who left the Jim Crow south to build ships in Marin City for a better life, facing racism and segregation in the process.
