The German company ZF has introduced a new mid-drive motor, the CentriX drive, that uses 48V circuitry to supply power more readily.
The ZF CentriX Drive weighs just 2.5kg (5.5 lbs.) despite its ability to produce up to 600W and 90Nm of torque.
The CentriX Drive is designed to be used in eMTBs and lightweight road and gravel e-bikes due to its low weight, high power output, and increased voltage.
