In recent years, the line between Gravel and mountain biking has blurred. Gravel races traverse service roads rough enough to make trail riders balk and cross-country mountain bikes are getting to be feather-light.
Dylan Johnson raced the 2023 Leadville 100 on a drop bar hardtail. As the line continues to blur between gravel and cross country, bikes like this will become more and more common.
