Wout Van Aert expressed his desire for a crash-free 2025 while aiming for victories in prestigious races, emphasizing the need for gear restrictions to enhance safety.
"Having to watch all the big Classics and events in 2025 is enough for me," said Van Aert, revealing his strong ambition to participate actively and succeed in his favored races.
"I dream of being able to look back in a year and have a victory at the Tour of Flanders or Paris-Roubaix. That is my priority," Van Aert articulated his goals.
Van Aert highlighted that the speed of the men's professional peloton is rising, stating, "It's made an interesting debate among the riders because cycling is getting faster. Limiting the gears could improve safety."
