Pavel Bittner claimed his first professional victory at the opening stage of the 2024 Vuelta a Burgo by managing to find Giacomo Nizzolo's wheel and surging past him in sight of the finish line.
Thanks to his victory, Bittner also earned the purple race leader's jersey, with Ivan Garcia Cortina securing third and Ediardo Affini fourth.
