The melding of the old and new - A new incarnation for the Melbourne to Warrnambool and Warrnambool Classic
Briefly

The upcoming Melbourne to Warrnambool cycling race, a historic event first held in 1895, will serve as the opening competition for the ProVelo Super League. Set for February 8 for the men and February 9 for the women's race, it reflects a renewed commitment to domestic cycling. This league follows the inaugural SA Kick It event and showcases top competitors, including 19-year-old Talia Appleton leading the U23 category. The race has inspired generations of cyclists and signals an exciting new chapter in Australian cycling culture.
