The primary way to acquire Carbon Fiber in Palworld isn't to farm Pals for drops. Instead, you'll have better results by crafting Carbon Fiber after unlocking it in the technology tree and building a Production Assembly Line.
Crafting Carbon Fiber involves grinding levels, spending resources on a Production Assembly Line, and using coal obtained from coal rocks in desert regions. Only two late-game Pals, Jetragon and Shadowbeak, drop Carbon Fiber as monster loot.
