Tomaz Ambrozic, founder and director of Sport Media Focus, stated: 'The first talks have been held, including one with the director of ASO. The French side is ready, ASO is ready to listen. But now we would need some kind of government letter of intent.' His comments underline the crucial need for governmental backing to elevate Slovenia's aspiration of hosting this prestigious cycling event.
Ambrozic further expressed optimism regarding Slovenia's chances, saying: 'Is Slovenia ready to try this? I hope so. Maybe this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
