Specialized Bicycles produced a 20-minute documentary titled "The Hard Line," highlighting the collaborative efforts of volunteers and local agencies. The film explores the trail's development, discussing geology, environmental impact, and the design process. Despite the trail's notorious 60-foot drop, a bypass ensures accessibility for capable riders. The joint efforts of the U.S. Forest Service and local cycling organizations were instrumental in completing this unique addition to the Sedona trail system.
