Tiffany Slaton, a 27-year-old woman from Georgia, is missing after being last seen on April 24 at Cressman's General Store in Shaver Lake, California. She was bikepacking to Mono Hot Springs. Her mother reported that Tiffany, who has been accepted into medical school, aimed to fulfill some of her lifelong dreams. Following a period of unreported communication due to the family's activities, the Slaton family notified authorities when they could not reach her. The Fresno County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate but has found no evidence of her belongings since the search began.
"She wanted to see Mono Hot Springs," Slaton said, referring to a resort campground some 20 miles northeast of Huntington Lake via Kaiser Pass Road.
By April 28 the family decided to contact authorities to report Tiffany missing after not being able to contact her.
A person reported seeing Tiffany on April 24 at about 7 p.m. at Cressman's General Store in Shaver Lake.
The Fresno County Sheriff's Office is overseeing the missing person case and has found no signs of Tiffanyâs bike or gear since search efforts began.
