Ride Guide: Kimberley, British Columbia
Briefly

At some 2000 acres, BC's largest provincial park encompasses a vast swath of fir forest and glacial-remnant ridges and rocky bluffs on the edge of downtown.
Riders can access a nest of mellow XC trails directly from the Platzl, but for a more technically demanding loop, begin on the south border of the park near Sunflower Hill.
This two-mile descent mixes wide, high-speed turns and tight, technical traverses before joining the smooth sidehill of Shapeshifter and Hoodoo View.
The steeper pitch, full of cobbled corners, rollovers and wood features, will keep advanced riders on their game.
