Using what is known as a dual-idler alongside the dual-chain drive and the new mid-high pivot, 6-bar suspension design, this new Phoenix makes claims of an exceptional suspension feel.
Pivot decided to share this bike in various prototype phases for over a year. The team test-raced the bike aggressively, finding both success and catastrophic failure.
The chain tension does not interfere with the movement of the rear suspension, and the effective gear is larger than it appears while maintaining a lower center of gravity.
