Paralympics Day 9: More medal joy for Irish para cycling pairing

Damien Vereker, representing Team Ireland, finished eighth in the Men's B Road Race with a time of 3.04.18, after overcoming early challenges.
Despite facing some difficulties, Vereker and his partner Mitchell McLaughlin settled into the race well, placing 9.08 minutes behind the gold medalist.
Tristan Bangma of the Netherlands won the gold medal with a time of 2.55.10, followed closely by teammate Vincent ter Schure with silver.
The bronze medal in the Men's B Road Race was claimed by Alexandre Lloveras of France, who received a warm welcome from the local crowd.
