In Nove Mesto, Pidcock did what he does best and rode away from the field for the win. He clearly did not forget how to handle his mountain bike during his stint on the tarmac.
Cross-country racing GOAT Nino Schurter proved he is still a force to be reckoned with and finished second, while his countryman Marcel Guerrini finished third.
Victor Koretzky and Chris Blevins, who sit first and second in the overall standings (and went 1-2 in Saturday's short track!) struggled by their standards in the XCO. Koretzky finished 20th and Blevins finished 29th.
