The New Zealand MTB Rally, held in the top of the South region on the north end of New Zealand's South Island, features helicopter drops and fording rivers in boats, adding a unique twist to the multi-day enduro format.
The men's winner of the rally, Matthew Fairbrother, did the entire race self-supported by pedaling every transfer, climbing to every stage, and even kayaking across the water, showcasing an exceptional level of endurance and dedication.
