Michael Foley claimed the uphill bunch sprint in stage 2 of Tour de Beauce, while Tyler Stites retained the race lead.
The peloton controlled the break well, keeping the gaps relatively small; Stites leads with 19 seconds ahead of Kent Ross, with ten riders within 30 seconds.
Stage 3 presents a chance to reshuffle the General Classification standings with a tough 169km course, including the challenging finish at Mont-Mégantic observatory.
