Labour promises new powers for police to quickly scrap noisy dirt and quad bikes causing havoc in neighborhoods. Police will be able to dispose of off-road bikes being used antisocially within 48 hours.
Keir Starmer's party wants to raise on-the-spot fines for using off-road bikes or ignoring officers' instructions, currently as low as 100. The shadow home secretary, Yvette Cooper, stressed the importance of cracking down on antisocial behavior.
Labour aims to extend closure notices for drug dens from 48 to 72 hours, allowing police more time to shut them down at court. Data-driven hotspot policing will target repeat antisocial offenders under Labour's proposals.
