In his first Presidential Tour of Turkey, Alexander Kristoff expressed disappointment in his own performance but celebrated his younger brother Felix's win at the Tour de Bretagne. The 19-year-old Felix is the reigning European champion in the under-19 category and is projected to excel in classic races. Alexander mentioned he holds several top finishes but has never won in this particular race, while his brother has already achieved that feat. As both brothers continue their cycling careers, Kristoff is nearing a milestone of 100 professional wins, with Felix poised for greater challenges ahead.
"It was nice to see my little brother take the win. It looked like a hard-fought victory. The Tudor guy [Jackson Medway] was away and somehow he managed to come back."
"I try not to teach him too much yet because I still ride but I'll teach him more next year after I stop. If I teach him too much already, he'll beat me!"
