After a delay of two months, the official route presentation for the 2025 Giro d'Italia will take place on January 13 from the Auditorium della Musica in Rome.
Rome is expected to be announced as the final stage for Giro on June 1, confirming its participation as a stage city for the third consecutive year.
Organisers RCS Sports confirmed that the opening stages of the 2025 Giro will take place in Albania starting on May 9, 2025.
Mauro Vengi, director of the Giro d'Italia, mentioned that the routes for both races have been solidified for weeks despite the recent delays.
