Final stage of Tour du Rwanda cancelled due to adverse weather

The Tour du Rwanda faced cancellation of its final stage due to adverse weather, including strong winds and thunderstorms that made roads unsafe. Initially re-routed because of mud, the conditions worsened, leading the UCI jury to stop the race with 13 km left. As a result, the overall winner was determined by the standings from the previous stage. Fabien Doubey claimed victory after leading the General Classification, marking his first stage race title at 31 years old.
