Could This Be the Final Chapter of His Racing Career? Aaron Gwin Joins Frameworks Racing
"Lately, patriotism has been hard to muster, but as Aaron Gwinn joins Anna Newkirn, Asa Vermette, and Neko Mulally on Frameworks Racing, we American race fans are allowed a little joy. This stacked roster should give anyone a little pride in the future of US Downhill and our global representation. Regardless of what we see in mainstream media outside the MTB bubble, I'll allow a small trickle of patriotism to flow today."
""I've got the support to fully focus on racing again and the equipment to win," Gwinn states. "That's what I was looking for, and I'm stoked to be doing it with a great group of friends. I'm looking forward to enjoying all the hard work and seeing what we can accomplish together." Signing Aaron certainly gives the team a more competitive edge at the highest level, and in addition to Gwinn's racing goals, he also brings many years of knowledge and experience."
Aaron Gwinn joins Frameworks Racing alongside Anna Newkirn, Asa Vermette, and Neko Mulally for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. Gwinn is slated to compete in the World Cup Series, World Championships, Red Bull Hardline, and Pro Downhill Series. Gwinn reports having the support and equipment to fully focus on racing and to contend for wins. Mulally and Gwinn will provide mentorship to Newkirn and Vermette, increasing the team's competitive and developmental capacity. TRP increases support and becomes the team's title sponsor, rebranding the program as Frameworks Racing/TRP and strengthening resources for the 2026 season.
