The biggest improvement in the new Recon 2.0 shoe is the BOA system. The closure is now actuated with a softer Dyneema yarn, providing better cinching and positioning of the tongue.
The more expensive a shoe is, the more BOA dials it has, but the single Li2 BOA on the Recon 2.0 now works well after the issue with the wire has been resolved.
