Jessica Schiller embarked on a 10-hour water bike journey to the Farallon Islands to honor her daughter Naomi, who died of a fentanyl overdose in 2022.
Naomi had always encouraged Jessica to undertake this trip, which became a powerful tribute to her memory and a call for awareness about fentanyl overdoses.
The ride, dubbed Naomi's Ride, was aimed at raising awareness of the fentanyl crisis and supporting Shatterproof, a nonprofit dedicated to combating substance use disorders.
Jessica's trek across challenging waters not only symbolized her love for Naomi but also served to educate others about the dangers of fentanyl and the importance of support networks.
