"Boulder offers a unique combination of community, terrain, and industry partnership opportunities that align perfectly with Giant's mission and business vision," said Chris Lai, Operations General Manager for Giant USA."
"Giant's business general manager, Angelo Mascelli, added that the relocation will "energize our team" and help the brand better serve retailers, athletes, and riders across the U.S., while also reinforcing its commitment to advancing product innovation and broader brand experiences."
"Cycling has long been embedded in Boulder's identity. With an expansive trail network, near-year-round riding opportunities, and a dense outdoor enthusiast community, the city has attracted a range of bike brands, athletes, and industry organizations. Giant isn't the first to make the move - other cycling companies have similarly relocated operations to the area to capitalize on its talent pool, testing terrain, and community engagement."
Giant Group USA will relocate its U.S. headquarters from Newbury Park, California, to Boulder, Colorado, beginning early 2026, with most staff settled by late summer or early fall 2026. The move positions the company closer to a leading North American cycling and outdoor hub by leveraging Boulder's trail network, year‑round riding opportunities, and dense outdoor community. Leadership said the relocation will energize the team, help Giant better serve retailers, athletes, and riders across the U.S., and reinforce commitments to product innovation and expanded brand experiences. Giant assured that retailer support, rider services, and core operations will continue uninterrupted during the transition.
