AlUla Tour stage 4: Tom Pidcock dominates on Skyviews of Harrat Uwayrid
Briefly

Tom Pidcock has claimed his second solo stage win at the AIUIa Tour, showcasing his climbing prowess and boosting his overall lead. He attacked nine kilometers from the finish, gaining a 25-second advantage at the top of the critical climb. Despite pressure from pursuing riders, Pidcock managed to maintain his lead across the flat terrain that followed. His victory positions him favorably for the overall win with the new Q36.5 team, highlighting both his offensive strategy and endurance against the chasing pack.
"Offence is the best form of defence sometimes," he said. "Coming into this race I was told that it's normally a tailwind on this climb but now it's a headwind and it was a long eight [final] kilometres.
Pidcock's keeping the chasers at a distance on the flat segment after the climb was as important as his initial attack.
But I'm really happy, I extended the lead and it gives us a bit of a buffer going into tomorrow.
