Scott has successfully updated its Addict RC lightweight road bike, achieving a significant weight reduction of 300g while improving comfort and maintaining frame performance through advanced carbon technology.
The new frame design eliminates closed ends within the tubes and ensures they are free from voids, resulting in a strong and lightweight structure, said Scott’s representatives.
Utilizing the PP Mandrel technique, Scott's manufacturing method allows for reduced thickness of frame tubing to 0.6mm without compromising structural integrity, enhancing overall ride quality.
With enhancements in geometry and cockpit, the updated Addict RC is reported to be 36% more comfortable than its predecessor, offering improved ride quality and performance.
