The Baltinglass & District Active Retirement group hosted an annual Bealtaine afternoon tea dance at Germaines of Baltinglass. The event was managed by the Wicklow Arts Office as part of the Creative Places Baltinglass programme. The afternoon tea dance celebrated creativity, connection, and community in later life, with 70 attendees aged 55 and over. Guests enjoyed a full afternoon tea spread, followed by singing along and dancing to local musicians Fergus Kenny and Kenny Dunne. Members from the Moone Active Retirement Group in County Kildare attended, and three new priests from St Joseph's Parish were also present. Organisers thanked Wicklow Arts Office, Germaines staff, and the musicians, while noting some residents and staff from Baltinglass Community Hospital could not attend.
