"Broken Enough? is an autobiographical journey through the chains we mistake for love, safety, and duty. Whether leaving a country shaped by war, walking away from abuse, or claiming a suppressed identity, this collection captures the instant the lock snaps. We transform the question Am I good enough? into a definitive I am the blaze."
"This strategic move is not just a breakthrough; it's a provocative declaration aimed at decentralising traditional fashion capitals, all while maintaining a dynamic global presence. The casting was a testament to MYL BERLIN's unwavering dedication to radical inclusivity, showcasing a medley of diverse bodies, identities, and lived experiences—an intrinsic foundation rather than a fleeting trend."
"The collection tells an autobiographical narrative, exploring themes of liberation from the bindings we often misconstrue as love, home, and safety, and reconstructing identity akin to architectural mastery, brick by brick. For some, this journey symbolises the departure from a war-torn homeland; for others, it reflects breaking free from abusive relationships, unearthing childhood traumas, or reclaiming identities long denied."
MYL BERLIN made a significant international statement by becoming the only German fashion house featured at London Fashion Week, streaming their show live from Berlin's Neukölln district. The presentation spanned over 2,000 square meters and attracted more than 500 industry figures from fashion, art, music, and cultural sectors. The collection, titled "Broken Enough?", presents an autobiographical narrative exploring liberation from constraints mistaken for love, safety, and duty. The brand demonstrates unwavering commitment to radical inclusivity through diverse casting representing varied bodies, identities, and lived experiences.
