Glenn Danzig, at 69 years old, expressed his intent to limit touring, focusing instead on brief appearances and special shows. In an interview, he critiqued the trend of bands announcing 'final' tours only to return shortly after, insisting that if he were to designate a performance as his last, he would remain true to that promise. He clarified that his upcoming U.S. dates do not constitute a full tour, as he now prefers shorter sets rather than extensive travels as in his earlier career.
"If it's gonna be final, it should be final. If you say it's gonna be final... You'll see all these bands saying it's the last tour, and then they’re back again two years later. It’s kind of a scam."
"Right now, pretty much what I've said is kind of what I'm doing. I don't really tour anymore. I'll do a string of shows, which I don't consider a tour."
