This 100-year-old Key West Resort Just Unveiled Lilly Pulitzer-designed Oceanfront Suites

"Casa Marina, a storied resort that originally opened in 1925, is set on Key West's largest private beach and in its 100-year past, has hosted luminaries like Rita Hayworth, Guy Lombardo, Ernest Hemingway, Donald Sutherland, Helen Mirren, and Ozzie Osbourne. For Lilly Pulitzer, a brand synonymous with a resort lifestyle and sense of escape, the designer's first ever prints were developed on Key West in 1962."

"We wanted the suites to feel like you could come back from the beach covered in sand and feel embraced. To that end, her company used layered patterns that included the Lilly Pulitzer archival revival fabrics, bold and hand-painted murals, and swaths of paint in seaworthy shades."

Casa Marina Key West Curio Collection by Hilton has collaborated with Lilly Pulitzer to redesign two oceanfront suites as part of Hilton's "It Matters Where You Stay" campaign. Casa Marina, a historic resort opened in 1925 on Key West's largest private beach, has hosted numerous celebrities throughout its 100-year history. Lilly Pulitzer, a brand synonymous with resort lifestyle, developed its first prints on Key West in 1962. Interior designer Amanda Reynal created the suites using layered patterns, archival Lilly Pulitzer fabrics, hand-painted murals, and seaworthy paint colors to evoke a welcoming vacation aesthetic that embraces guests returning from the beach.
