South Korea's military accuses North Korea of disrupting GPS signals
Briefly

"We urge North Korea to stop GPS interference provocations immediately and strongly warn that it will be held fully accountable for any resulting consequences," the South's joint chiefs said in a statement.
Analyst Sukjoon Yoon highlighted that North Korea's actions show a vulnerability for South Korea's Incheon International Airport, which is less than 62 miles from the North.
Yoon noted that while no major aviation incidents have occurred due to these interferences, they are dangerous during poor visibility and violate international navigational safety conventions.
North Korea's GPS disruptions and balloon campaigns particularly endanger South Korea's aviation safety, with attacks showing increased hostility towards Seoul's conservative government.
